Friday every week at 9am Celebration Worship

Families are invited to join us for Celebration Worship each week. Classes will take turns to lead worship and share their experiences that week. Please refer to the current newsletter to confirm which class will lead.

16th October, Monday: Internet Safety Week

A nationwide campaign to help children (and adults) look at ways to keep safe on the internet

19th October, Thursday: Parents SATS Information at 2pm & 6pm

Mrs Armistead is holding a meeting for all parents regarding SATS

20th October, Friday: Harvest Celebration

We hold harvest celebration in school and collect food for local charities

23rd October, Monday: Teddy Bear Hospital in Reception

Lancaster University medical students visit our reception class and offer a free teddy bear health check.

26th October, Thursday: Yr5 Star Gazing

Yr5 have a sleep over in school and enjoy some star gazing when it goes dark.

27th October, Friday: Friends AGM at 10am

Friends of Skerton St Luke's (FOSSL), the PTA invite you to their AGM.

27th October, Friday: School closes for half term

Half term holidays.

7th November, Tuesday: Return to school

Return to school TUESDAY after half term

11th November, Saturday: Photographs in School

The "Friends" have arranged for a photographer to visit school. Please leave word at the office if you would like a photo slot for your child/ren.

13th November, Monday: Yr3 visit the Vue Cinema

Part of the Film Festival Week, Yr3 visit the Vue Cinema

13th November, Monday: Parents' Evening 3.30pm - 7pm

Parents are invited to meet with classteacher

14th November, Tuesday: Bag 2 School

Please return bags on this day only (collection day). All funds raised goes towards school activities.

The church holds its Church fair in the school hall. Everyone welcome.

Monday 27th November Bikeability

Yr5 & 6 take part in a Bikeability Level 1 & 2 (bike safety) throughout the week.

7th December, Thursday: School Christmas Fair at 3.15pm

School hold their Christmas Fair. Donations of cakes and tombola prizes will be appreciated.

8th December, Friday: Christmas Jumper Day

The school hold their annual Christmas Jumper Day so get creative !!!

9th November, Thursday: Young Leaders Elections

Yr5 & 6 Junior Young Leaders are voted in

13th December, Wednesday: Reception & KS1 Nativity at 2.15pm

The little ones put on a production of The Nativity for their parents and family.

15th December, Friday: Aladdin at the Duke's

All St Luke's children visit The Duke's in Lancaster to watch Aladdin.

20th December, Wednesday: KS2 Nativity at Church 2pm & 6pm

KS2 production of the Nativity (with choir) will be at St Luke's Church. All welcome.

21st December, Thursday: Reception & KS Disco 4.30pm to 5.30pm

22nd December, Friday: Carols around the Christmas Tree 1pm

13th October, Friday: St Luke's Tide in Church

All children are in church for St Luke's Tide from 8.55am. Children should be taken direct to church for 8.55am (unless in Early Birds). The theme will be 'Look for Helpers.' You are more than welcome to join us and walk back to school after.

9th October, Monday: Yr1 visit Lancaster Library

Yr1 children visit Lancaster library and check out a book.

5th October, Thursday: Yr6 travel to London

A highlight of the year for pupils in year 6 who visit London for a couple of days. Packed with tours, walks, museums & a visit to the theatre.

4th October, Wednesday: Recpetion Phonics at 6.30pm

Mrs Goodwin hosts a phonics evening for parents only. Come along and learn how phonics is taught to your child in school.

29th September, Friday: SEN Drop In at 2pm

Lucy Ellis hosts a SEN Drop In. Everyone welcome

28th September, Thursday: Meet and greet with classteacher at 3.30pm

A fantastic opportunity for our children to evaluate some local archaeological finds.

Yr5 & 6 choir visit the Priory for a singing workshop run by Ripley St Thomas
